In summer 2023, members of the Gefyra team recorded conversations with five weavers, Georgia Davara, Eleni Manousi, Chrysaphia Sini, and Chrysoula Stamatopoulou. The team also interviewed The Honorable Demos Verdos,  Mayor of Evrotas; Anthi Saranti, President of the Cultural Society of Geraki; Michalis Sovolos, Archivist with the General Archives of the State, Laconia; Gianna Katsougraki, archaeologist with the Ephorate of Antiquities of Laconia; Nikos Giannes, expert in Geraki weaving and  Conservator with the Ephorate of Antiquities of Laconia; and Nikos Zacharakis, expert in Geraki weaving and teacher. 

The recorded conversations were used to create sixteen short videos highlighting aspects of the art of weaving in Geraki. The interviews were conducted by Sofia Pitouli, a PhD candidate at UCLA and recorded by videographer Gregory Tsolakis. Luis Rodríguez-Pérez, a UCLA PhD student in Archaeology, assisted in the interviews. Sofia Pitouli and Dr. Sharon Gerstel, Director of the UCLA SNF Center for the Study of Hellenic Culture, were responsible for the subtitles.
